Experience.
Joined as Interim CTO to ensure a smooth transition as the previous CTO exited the company, overlapping through a short handover before fully taking over the role. Managed the engineering team, helping to prioritise and drive key technical decisions across the product roadmap. Developed and maintained the frontend of the company's products in TypeScript and React, and led cross-cutting technical initiatives across the product suite — leaning on AI tooling to deliver faster and more efficiently.

Delivered frontend and Node.js development across six of Diageo's brand websites — including Johnnie Walker, Ketel One, Tanqueray and Buchanan's — as part of a global digital transformation programme, working within a large multi-team setup (3–4 engineers per brand alongside product and delivery leads). Built against a shared component library and unified Contentful content model, consolidating the brands onto a single Next.js and TypeScript stack to cut infrastructure and maintenance overhead.

Built fullstack JAMStack applications (Gatsby, Contentful, Node.js) for eight client brands, including Danone, Deliverect, Admiral, Alpro and Souvenaid. Delivered Contentful migrations and built custom Contentful Apps as bespoke content fields for Mileway, and contributed to a government website (Belgium.be) built to strict web accessibility standards.

Rebuilt and re-branded the digital presence for Value Retail (BVSC) in a small cross-functional team — 3–4 engineers with designer, QA and project manager — delivering the new site on React and Gatsby with a Contentful CMS backend.

Maintained and extended Checkout (formerly YPlan), Time Out's e-commerce platform. Delivered a product page rebrand and built a new ticket selector widget. Led research and preliminary work on upgrading the ageing React version in use and migrating the Data Store from Flux to Redux.

Maintained and extended the front-end of Contact Now, 8x8's contact centre solution. Refactored the Zendesk phone integration and contributed features to the Atlassian and Salesforce integrations.
